31st Annual Marine Corps Marathon

Over 32,000 runners participated in the 31st Annual Marine Corps Marathon that was held on Sunday, October 29th. Ruben Garcia, a corpsman in the Mexican Navy won the event for the second year in a row. Laura Thompson from Boise was the first woman to cross the finish line.

Unfortunately there were also a couple of runners that had heart attacks. One died and the other is recovering in the hospital.
