Gen. Amos to Replace Conway as CMC

General James F. Amos was confirmed by the Senate on September 30th, 2010 as the next Commandant of the Marine Corps. He will replace General James T. Conway, who is retiring after serving in the top Marine billet since 2006. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 22nd.
